MOAA National:
MOAA National, located in Alexandria, Virginia, is a separate organization from
local affiliate chapters like the Lancaster Chapter. If you seek MOAA National membership, follow this link to MOAA National:
www.moaa.org
and click "Join" at the top of the MOAA web page. MOAA National has about
360,000 members. The Lancaster Chapter does encourage its
members to join the National MOAA organization. MOAA offers four types of memberships: Digital, Basic, Premium and Life. A Digital Membership is offered every new member who joins a Chapter.
MOAA State Chapters:
There are about 400 MOAA
state chapters in the U.S. with about sixteen chapters located in
Pennsylvania. The Lancaster Chapter is an active Pennsylvania chapter
with over 170 members. Joining the Lancaster Chapter does not give you dual
membership to the national organization or vice-versa. Each is a separate
organization and has their own dues structure. You do not have to be a
member of National MOAA in order to be a Lancaster Chapter member, however,
membership in National MOAA is encouraged by all Lancaster members.
