CDR Craig J. Stearn, USN (Ret), 88, Died on Saturday, December 8, at Masonic Village. He is survived by his wife Jean of 61 years. He was a long-time member of the Chapter (28 years) having joined in 1991. He ably served two-three year terms as a Board Director. A memorial service was held on Saturday, Dec 28 at Highland Presbyterian Church, 500 Roseville Road, Lancaster, PA 17601. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Craig's memory may be made toat the U.S.Naval Academy Highland Presbyterian CHurch or Alzheimer's Association.  

RADM C.A.E. Johnson, USN (Ret), 89, died on Thursday, December 12 at Willow Valley Retirement Communities. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth (Liz), of 57 years. He has been a Chapter member for over 15 years, having joined in 2004. A memorial service was held on Sunday, December 29, at St. John's Episcopal Church in Lancaster. Internment will be held at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to echo-net.com or a charity of choice.

Major John E. Schuppert, Jr, USAF (Ret), 80, died on Saturday, January 4. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Cynthia Schuppert. John is a 45 year charter member of the Chapter having joined in January 1975. He has served as a Board Director (81-82) and 2nd Vice President (87-88). A mass of Christian burial will be on Saturday, January 11 at 11 AM, at St. Anthony of Padua Church   , Lancaster. Lt Col Carl R. Beck, USAF (Ret), 86, died Thirsday, January 9 at Woodcrest Villa. Lancaster. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Yvonne M. Beck. Carl has been an active Lancaster Chapter member for over 23 years, having joined on February 4, 1997. Carl served the Air Force as a navigator retiring after 28 years of service. In retirement, he served the Solanco School District for 37 years as a science teacher, counselor and administrator. A funeral service is planned on Saturday, January 18 at 11 AM at Zion UCC Chuch, 900 Winter Hill Road, Strasburg, PA. Donations in his memory may be sent to Hospice and Community Care, P.O.
