Betty Jane Henry died on Aug 4, 2018, at Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community. She is the wife of our member CW4 Lloyd E Henry. Col Victor M. Bove, USA (Ret), MD, died on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the age of 94. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Alice Bove. He was a long-time member of the chapter having joined in 1989 and served as chapter president from 2006-2007. He saw combat during the battle of the bulge in WW2 earning the Silver Star, Bronze Star and Purple Heart. There will be a funeral service on Saturday, November 17 at 10 AM at the Charles F Snyder Funeral Home, 414 E. King Street, Lancaster, 17602. The family will receive guests starting at 9:30 AM until the start of the service. A private burial will take place at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross, PO Box 37839, Boone, IA 50037-0839.

Major John C. Hoogerwerff, USMC (Ret), died Tuesday, January 8, 2019 in Lancaster, PA, at the age of 81. He was preceded in death by his son in 1986 and his wife, Florence, in October 2018. He was a long time Chapter member having joined in October 1996. He served 30 years in the Marine Corps earning among other awards, a Bronze Star with valor for service in Vietnam. A funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, January 13 at the Charles F Snyder Jr Funeral Home in Lititz. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Foundation, PO Box 781352, Philadelphia, PA 19178-1352.

Former 1st LT George E (Bud) Becker, USAF, died Sunday, January 13, 2019, in Lititz at the age of 87.  He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Joyce Becker.  He was an active member of the Chapter since joining in April 2000.  He was a long time employee of Armstrong World Industries serving in several upper managerial positions.  A celebration of his life will be held at the Moravian Manor on Friday, January 25 at 11 AM.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Moravian Manor Benevolent Care Fund, 300 W Lemon Street, Lititz, PA 17543 or Masonic Village Hospice, One Masonic Drive, Elizabethtown, PA 17022-2219.
